Raktim Ranjit builds business software and the systems behind it.

Founder of NodeDR Infotech Private Limited. I build software around real workflows, from billing and stock to restaurant orders and deployment.

Introduction

A software engineer who builds complete systems.

I enjoy engineering problems that don’t fit neatly into one layer of the technology stack. A restaurant order crosses a menu, a till, a kitchen display, tax rules, staff permissions and a local network. An invoice can change stock, accounting entries and a customer’s balance at the same moment.

Those relationships are what I design for. I begin with the work people need to do, model the data and invariants, build the interface and API, secure access, then package and operate the result. OrderRestro and Rechvix show what that looks like in code.

That’s where I work best: between disciplines, close to the problem.

My approach

From the problem to the running system.

A complete product needs more than good screens. Each stage changes the decisions at the next: what the business means by a sale shapes the data model; that model shapes permissions, infrastructure and recovery. I keep those connections visible.

  1. 01 / 04

    Understand

Watch the workflow, ask where records drift and learn what a person must decide.

  2. 02 / 04

    Model

Define the data, states, permissions and invariants before they become hidden assumptions.

  3. 03 / 04

    Build

Connect the interface, API and business rules so a complete task works end to end.

  4. 04 / 04

    Operate

Deploy, observe, secure, back up and improve the system after its first release.

Featured case study · Rechvix

Finalising an invoice in Rechvix can change stock, the accounting ledger, tax records and document numbering. I designed the operation as one transaction, with a movement ledger for inventory and tenant boundaries in both SQL queries and PostgreSQL row-level security.

The case study explains why I chose a modular monolith, how the runtime database role differs from the migrator and what a restore drill checks after a backup.

Engineering across layers

The system includes the parts between teams.

I build applications, but also work through their data integrity, access rules, deployment path and the networks they depend on. My expertise pages connect software engineering, enterprise workflows, AI and automation, DevOps, networking and cybersecurity to projects where those concerns are visible.

The business behind the work

Building practical software at NodeDR

I founded NODEDR INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED to make dependable software for the work businesses do every day. Our products support accounting and inventory, restaurants, retail, pharmacies and workforce operations.

We start with the real workflow, then build the application, data model and deployment path around it. That means useful tools for the people doing the work, with systems the business can understand and operate.

Beyond engineering

Fiction and photographs

I write fiction and photograph people and places. Both parts of Proof of Absence are on the Writing page, and photographs are in the gallery.
