Who I am

This website, raktimranjit.com, is run by Raktim Ranjit, a software engineer and the founder of NODEDR INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED. For anything in this policy, write to [email protected].

What I collect

Contact form

If you use the contact form, I receive the name, email address, optional phone number and message you type. I use them only to reply to you.

Email

If you email me, I keep the message and your address so I can reply and keep a record of the conversation.

Visit statistics

I count visits with Umami, an analytics tool that I host myself on NODEDR INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED’s own server. It sets no cookies, does not follow you across sites, and does not run if your browser sends Do Not Track. It records page views, referrer, browser, device type and approximate country, in aggregate, and nothing that identifies you personally.

Technical data

Like any web server, the hosting stack may record your IP address, browser type, requested page and time in short-lived operational logs. These are used for security and fixing faults, not for profiling.

What I do not do

• No advertising, and no sale or rental of your data.
• No third-party analytics, tracking cookies or cross-site tracking.
• No accounts, and no automated decisions about you.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not set any cookies. Fonts are served from this site’s own domain, and the self-hosted analytics described above is cookie-free.

Who receives your data

Contact form messages are passed over an encrypted connection to a message service operated by NODEDR INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED, and delivered to my inbox. My email provider and hosting provider process data on my behalf. I do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long I keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and for up to 24 months afterwards, then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short operational period.

Your rights

You can ask me to show you, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Write to [email protected] and I will reply within 30 days. This policy is written with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind, and I aim to respect equivalent rights, such as under the GDPR, for visitors elsewhere.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and the contact form is protected against automated spam. No system is perfectly secure, but I keep data collection small so there is little to lose.

Links to other sites

This site links to NodeDR, LinkedIn, GitHub and other services. They have their own privacy policies, which I do not control.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
